Now Available: Assign Tasks and Send Emails in Mobile App
Two new updates make it easier to keep your team organized and connected. Create and assign game-day tasks so everyone knows how they can help, and draft, send, and review team emails right from the mobile app. It’s everything you need to coordinate the team, wherever you are.
Volunteer Tasks & Assignments
For every team event, managers can create tasks for parents to claim from bringing snacks to running the scoreboard. Once claimed, upcoming Tasks appear right in each parent’s schedule, making it easy for everyone to know when it’s their turn to help.
In this release:
Set Up Automated Default Tasks: Team staff can now set up Default Tasks that automatically attach to specific event types (games, practices, or general events) across the season. Choose to apply defaults to all events or only newly created ones.
Flexible Single-Event Overrides: Need to tweak a task for a specific game? Staff can unlink a default task on a single event to adjust its details without disrupting the rest of the season's template.
Shared Tasks: Create tasks requiring multiple volunteers (e.g., needing two parents to bring "Snacks") so all necessary spots get filled.
Automated Volunteer Nudges: Keep team chat informed without manual chasing! If tasks remain unfilled 5 days and 24 hours prior to an event, an automated chat card will prompt team members to step up.
Instant Email & Schedule Sync: Automatic emails notify volunteer when they’re added to or removed from a task, and active tasks automatically surface on the volunteer's personal schedule view.
In-App Mobile Email for Team Staff & Parents
Team staff and contacts can now draft, send, and review team emails directly inside the mobile app! Accessed via a dedicated icon at the top of team pages, mobile email keeps everyone aligned no matter where they are.
On-the-Go Emailing for Team Staff: Coaches and managers can send rich-text emails to individual members, specific groups, or the full team right from the field.
Full Email Archives for Families: Parents and contacts can access a complete historical archive of all team emails, ensuring new additions never miss crucial season updates.
