Major Release:

Staff Registrations

We are excited to introduce Staff Registrations, a dedicated workflow designed to simplify how you manage your volunteers and coaching staff.

• Automated Role Assignment: Say goodbye to manual data entry. When coaches or managers register through these specialized forms, they are automatically assigned the Team Staff role in your program eliminating the need for manual role updates later.

• Tailored Experience: The registration process has been simplified specifically for adults, removing unnecessary steps found in player forms to create a faster experience for your volunteers.

Admin & Program Updates

• Rostering: "Silent" Team Assignments: You now have full control over when welcome emails are sent during bulk imports.

  • Publish to Notify: When importing participants with team assignments, the system no longer sends automatic emails immediately. Emails are only generated when you explicitly choose to Publish your rosters, ensuring no communications go out until you are 100% ready. Help Article

• Data Management: Access Previous Seasons: Organizations that have moved from TeamSnap for Business to TeamSnap ONE can now access their historical season data directly within the new platform.

Mobile Updates

Our mobile teams have been working hard to deliver a smoother, faster experience for your members.

iOS Updates (v1.8.0 – v1.11)

• Event Sharing: Users can now share web links for events and live streams directly from the team schedule.

• Easier Tagging: Tagging players in media is faster than ever! Simply tap a name or avatar instead of searching for a tiny checkbox.

• Flexible Scoring: You can now type in scores directly rather than tapping single point increments.

• Player Profiles UI: We’ve refreshed the interface for editing player profiles and adding jersey numbers for a cleaner look.

• Smart Notes: Links included in coach notes (within event details) are now fully clickable.

• Seamless Access: Users with TeamSnap+ on TeamSnap Classic will no longer see onboarding paywalls on TeamSnap ONE.

• Key Fixes:

  • Fixed score update buttons in the Game Zone.

  • Resolved issues with tags not showing on media and crashes during live streams.

  • System Update: Support for iOS 16 has been deprecated; the app now requires iOS 17 or later.

Android Updates (v1.8.0 – v1.10)

• Live Updates: "Polling" (auto-refresh) is now enabled on all screens with entry points, ensuring you always see the freshest data without manually refreshing.

• Quick Scoring: Tapping the score display now immediately opens the edit score sheet, getting you back to the game faster.

• Navigation Improvements:

  • Deep links can now be opened back-to-back consistently without breaking the app flow.

  • Tapping "Home" from a child page now correctly returns you to the main Home screen.

• Data Integrity: Added field length validation for text fields in events to prevent errors.

• Key Fixes: Updated warning messages when closing event screens to reduce confusion and fixed color mismatches in Polls.
