September 2026 - New Features & Enhancements
September brought several upgraded tools to TeamSnap ONE designed to give youth sports organization administrators total control over registration logic, invoice batches, mobile app communications, and team management!
Major Releases
Custom Eligibility Questions on Registration Groups
Organization administrators can now gate registration groups using custom drop-down questions from their organization's question library, such as grade, school, neighborhood, skill tier, tryout result, or position, in addition to standard age and gender rules.
Flexible Qualifying Answers: Select specific qualifying answers for each eligibility question. Athletes qualify, and available options display for them, if their answer matches any qualifying answer for that question, while all criteria attached to a group must pass for it to be offered.
No Duplicate Questions for Parents: Questions designated for eligibility are locked above the participant questions section on the form builder so parents are never asked the same question twice.
Seamless Form Copying: Duplicating a registration form automatically carries over all eligibility configurations and qualifying answer selections.
Integrated Reporting & Data: Eligibility responses save directly to the registration record, flowing into data tables and CSV exports.
Streamlined Parent Experience: A dedicated "Eligibility Questions" step displays right after participant selection, ensuring parents only see the registration options their athlete qualifies for.
In-App Mobile Email for Team Staff & Parents
Team staff and contacts can now access email directly within the mobile app via a top-navigation icon on team pages.
On-the-Go Emailing: Team staff can draft and send rich-text emails to individuals, groups, or the entire team from anywhere.
Email Archive for Families: Parents (Contacts) can view a full historical archive of emails sent by team staff.
Team Management on the Web
Coaches, team managers, and parents can now manage their teams directly from their laptop.
Comprehensive Web Tools: Easily draft formatted emails with attachments, build and share team schedules, track player availability, view rosters, and keep team conversations going via web chat.
Zero Rollout Setup: Users simply sign in to their TeamSnap account at identity.teamsnap.com or go.teamsnap.com and select their team to access web tools. Late-added families automatically gain access to historical email and chat archives.
Administrative & Program Updates
Invoice Batches Tab: Admins can now navigate to a dedicated "Invoice Batches" tab in Invoices to see every sent batch and click into scoped invoice views.
Preview & Publish from Imports: The player and staff import wizard now features preview cards showing profile data before creation. Admins can toggle through cards, confirm accuracy, and publish/email team assignments immediately from the wizard.
Real-Time Profile Data Sync: Updates made to a participant's Name, Date of Birth, or Gender on their profile now instantly update on the registered list.
Improved Calendar Instruction Emails: Calendar instruction emails now omit archived teams, list team names alphabetically, and present non-clickable URL text to prevent confusion over static ICS downloads.

Media Deletion Safeguard: Displays a warning message whenever a user attempts to delete an event that has media attached.
